What’s lost, what’s left, what’s next: Lessons learned from the lived experiences of teachers during the pandemic
    Berkeley Review of Education
During the 2020 school closures, interviews with 40 teachers across school types and grade levels revealed concerns about student motivation, professional burnout, and widening inequities. As climate change increases the likelihood of future disruptions, schools must learn from COVID-19 to build resilience. We recommend five priorities: center equity, strengthen relationships, support student motivation, prevent staff burnout, and plan for uncertainty.

Remote language revitalisation efforts during COVID-19
    Technology, Pedagogy, and Education
This study examines how remote instruction supported an Indigenous language school during COVID-19. Using a digital decolonization framework and design-based research, the authors studied a classroom of 16 early-grade students. Video conferencing and flipped classrooms helped foster a community of speakers but limited language learning efficacy. Findings suggest preliminary design principles for equity-centered, context-specific remote instruction.
